Marketing in the UAE

What's different about marketing in the UAE.

Three things that shape how UAE customers search, compare and buy.

Two languages, one marketBuyers switch between English and Arabic, and between Arabic script and Latin-letter Arabic. Pages, keywords and ads need both, with right-to-left layouts that work on mobile.
WhatsApp is the sales channelMany UAE customers would rather message than fill in a form. Click-to-WhatsApp ads, quick replies and a CRM that records every chat turn messages into tracked leads.
A calendar of its ownRamadan changes when people browse and buy, Eid drives gifting and travel, and the Dubai Shopping Festival and November sales season are peaks for retail. Budgets and creative should follow them.

Common problems

What we usually find and fix first.

An English-only website for customers who search in Arabic

Arabic pages machine-translated without checking, which reads badly and ranks poorly

WhatsApp leads that never reach the CRM, so ad platforms can't learn which clicks sell

The same creative and budget all year, missing the Ramadan, Eid and sales-season shifts

Branch listings with different names, numbers or opening hours across Google and Apple Maps

Influencer posts run without checking the UAE's advertising and permit rules

How we work

How an engagement runs.

01

A short call about your goals, customers, current channels and what has or hasn't worked

02

An audit of your website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and tracking, with the findings written up

03

A plan that puts the highest-impact fixes first, with what each one should change

04

Tracking fixed before spend goes up, so every later decision rests on clean data

05

Delivery in your own accounts, so the listings, audiences and data stay yours

06

Monthly reports with figures taken straight from Search Console, Business Profile and the ad platforms

Outcomes

What the work is designed to deliver.

Qualified leads

Campaigns measured on enquiries and orders that sales can use, not clicks.

Marketing to a bilingual, mobile-first market

The UAE has a young, international and almost entirely online population. Many buyers read English and Arabic, and the language they search in often depends on the product and the device. A villa search may start in English, a clinic search in Arabic, and a fashion search in either. Businesses that cover both languages properly reach customers their competitors miss.

Doing that well means more than translation. Arabic keywords are researched separately, pages use right-to-left layouts that still look right on a phone, and each language version is linked with hreflang so Google shows the right one.

Seasons that move UAE demand

  • Ramadan: browsing shifts to the evening and late night, and gifting, food and charity searches rise. Ad schedules and messages should change with it.
  • Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha: peaks for fashion, gifts, travel and dining.
  • Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises: retail and hospitality peaks with heavy competition for attention.
  • November sales: White Friday, Yellow Friday and Black Friday bring the year's biggest ecommerce discounts.

Rules that shape UAE marketing

  • Data protection: the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) covers how customer data is collected and used. Businesses in the DIFC and ADGM free zones follow their own data protection rules too.
  • Influencers and social ads: the UAE Media Council regulates advertising on social media, including permits for people who post paid promotions. Check that creators you pay are licensed before a campaign starts.
  • Content standards: ads and creative must respect UAE media content standards and cultural norms, which matters for imagery, music and timing during Ramadan.

How we work with UAE clients

Axzora Solutions is a remote team. We work in your own Google, Meta and WhatsApp Business accounts, so the listings, audiences and data stay yours, and we report monthly with figures taken straight from those platforms.

Questions

Questions from UAE businesses.

Do you work with businesses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. We work remotely with businesses in every emirate, and with GCC-wide campaigns run from the UAE.

Can you do SEO in Arabic?

Yes. We research Arabic keywords separately from English, build right-to-left pages, set up hreflang between the language versions, and have Arabic copy reviewed rather than relying on machine translation.

Which ad platforms work best in the UAE?

Google Search is the base for high-intent demand. Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok are strong for consumer brands, and LinkedIn for B2B. The right mix depends on your product and buyer.

Can WhatsApp leads be tracked as conversions?

Yes. With the WhatsApp Business API and a CRM, chats can be recorded as leads and qualified leads sent back to Google and Meta as conversions, so campaigns optimize for real enquiries.

Do you have an office in the UAE?

No. Axzora Solutions is a remote team. We work through calls, shared dashboards and your own platform accounts.

How do I get a price?

Prices depend on languages, branches and channels. We discuss them on a short call; book one from the contact page.
